SEASONED WOOD – It doesn’t
sound like much but it has taken me over seven years
to acquire enough wood so that I will always have more
than enough on hand at all times.
RADIAL PIN – Radial Pins in
ALL cues and Uni-Lock Quick Release pins in the Jump
Handle. These pins cost 20 times more than all the
standard pins on the market. They are also 20 times
more accurate and so smooth that there is no damage
to the threads even after 25 years of service.
LINEN BASED FIBER – Atlas Double
Black Linen Based Fiber is used for the Butt Cap and
all Joint Collars. If you want your Joint collars to
stay on you should insist on the best. Do not settle
for ABS or PVC because it is NOT suitable for this
application.
TerminatorShaftT3™– TheTerminatorShaftT3™(Jump-Break
Taper) is the very best taper whether you are Breaking
or Jumping Balls. The Terminator Shaft T3 is so stiff
that there is no loss of energy as the cue ball and
the cue come slamming together.
WATER BUFFALO TIP – This cue
comes complete with a Hard, Water Buffalo Tip because
it transfers energy so quickly. They hold their shape
for years.
SHORT FERRULE – Arnot’s
short ferrule design eliminates the flex of the tenon
and reduces the overall weight of the ferrule/tip assembly.
The ferrule material of choice is Melamine because
of its strength and beauty.
UNI-LOC QUICK RELEASE – By
using the Uni-Loc Quick Release Pin you are ready to
jump just as fast as you can unscrew your cue 11⁄2
turns.
TITANIUM RADIAL PIN – Lighter
and stronger, we use a Titanium Radial Pin to connect
the shaft to the jump handle. It is the most expensive
joint pin on the market but you deserve the best! My
Jump Break cues are built to do two things: Break and
Jump. That is all they do; they Jump and Break better
than any other cue in the world because that is precisely
what they were designed to do.
I put everything I know about wood and cue making
into making the best Jump/Break cue in the world. It
has taken years of experience but I have learned to
use only the best seasoned wood because I want my cues
to stay straight. I use the most accurate and best
cutting-edge hardware because I want every part to
fit together perfectly. I use the TerminatorShaftT3
because it is the best shaft I have ever seen or used.
They play so well that I fitted them onto all my personal
cues.
Because I use seasoned wood, Titanium Radial Pins
and Uni-Lock Quick Release Joint Pins, and American
labor, it cost me more to produce one of my Jump Break
cues than the other Jump Break cues you see on the
