Just as there is no, "Fine
Wine Before Its Time," there
is, "No Fine Cue Before Its Due." This cue named, "Fine
Wine," reminded me of the color of a fine wine. Just as
fine wines are aged, the wood used in our fine cues is seasoned
for at least three years before the cue is started. This cue
probably should have been named Sangria because it is so sweet.
At
the end of every Rainbow is a Pot-of-Gold.
This use of laminated
wood has resulted in another beautiful and colorful cue.
This cue is stable and perfectly balanced,
and it is guaranteed not to warp -- unless abused -- for
as long as you own the cue. This use of dyed woods (jointed
together
by resins under heat and pressure) has elevated custom cue
making
to a new level of excellence. It is colorful, dimensionally
stable, perfectly balanced, solid and pleasing to the touch. "For
the first time we don't have to worry about what effect the
different climatic conditions around the world will have
on the cue."
Combining this wood with a seasoned
maple handle, double-black linen-based fiber butt cap and
joint collars, a beautiful
ring of Bloodwood, Ivory and Ebony, a laminated shaft and a Radial
Pin results in a custom cue with the most advanced technology
ever seen in cue making. Because this wood comes from a
renewable hardwood source it is helping to eliminate the threat
to
the world's depleting rain forest.
