Rosewood
Road Player Custom Pool Cue
Sold
To Robert Carr - St. Charles, IL
The wood used in this cue was seasoned more than five
years before the birthing process began. This slow
process assures that the cue will remain stable and
give years of faithful service to its owner.
East Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) has a long
history of successful use in the cue making industry.
Aged properly, incrementally reduced in size over a
period of years, and properly sealed and finished,
it yields an exceptionally stable and beautifully figured
cue with unusual variation in colors ranging from light
brown to dark brown, coupled with streaks of purple
and sometimes a yellowish tinge or light rose color.
It also has the unusual quality of retaining exact
measurements after it is cut, which makes it ideal
considering the precision necessary in the making of
a fine cue. It has been used in India and Ceylon, Europe
and the United States in the creation of fine furniture
and cabinet work and is considered to be one of the
most valuable woods available. The ROAD PLAYER has
