8-Point Blood Wood Crown Custom Cue

This cue started with an outrageous piece of 5X Birds Eye Maple. In order to preserve as much of the wood's natural beauty and definition of the grain I elected to use short points. The short points coupled with the Ebony, Ivory, and Blood Wood chain produced a Crown-like appearance in the forearm. Thus it became the first of the Blood Wood Crown style of Arnot Cue.

The use of Sterling Silver inlays bordered by Sterling Silver rings in the joint resulted in the appearance of eight small Ebony windows. The same use of Sterling Silver was carried into the center of the butt sleeve for continuity with larger results, but not so bold as to detract from the Ebony, Ivory, or Blood Wood chain below the wrap.
