This is a true custom cue made to meet the player’s
needs. It is Custom made from scratch the right way
starting with seasoned Rosewood and seasoned Hard
Curly Maple to prevent warpage. You will NOT find
this in
other Sneaky Pete cues on the market. It might look
like a house cue but it is as far removed from your
ordinary Sneaky Pete as a Ferrari is from roller
skates. This is a solid durable custom cue of exceptional
value.
Collars and a butt cap are not put on a cue just
to look pretty; they are installed to keep
the wood from
splitting. All collars are not created equal.
Some of the material other cuemakers use is
cheap, does
not glue properly and the finish will not stick
to it very long. The material we use is very
expensive. Double Black Linen Based Fiber (LBF)
is the very
best
material made for this purpose. It is stronger
than ABS or PVC. It is double black for beauty
and it is
porous so it accepts epoxy glue and finish
perfectly. It is also the strongest stuff you can
imagine.
