Purple Heart is one of my favorite woods because it plays so good. It is difficult to finish but it is worth the effort. Starting with a piece of over 10 year old Purple Heart Wood I inlayed Four Points into the Forearm and then I included four Ebony Arrowheads into the joint for a little touch of elegance. The old standby; Black with White Specks Irish Linen Wrap provided the contrast between colors and everything just “popped” when the finish was polished. Please Enjoy!
