The Ebony Eight Point Custom Pool Cue

I started this cue with a piece of Ebony wood which had been in my shop since 1999. Needless to say it was well seasoned and just begging to be made into a custom cue.
 
I had built a cue with a similar front earlier in the year which I had really liked but it kept gnawing at me to build another with points in the butt sleeve pointing in the opposite direction.  Then I decided it needed an Ivory Joint and Ivory Rambo Ring next to the butt cap.  I used our new style (more narrow) butt cap and incorporated silver rings and Deco Rings with the same veneers.
 
This cue includes the following:

  • Seasoned Ebony wood Forearm and Butt Sleeve
  • Four Cocobolo Points in the Forearm and Four Cocobolo Points in the Butt Sleeve.
  • 1 TerminatorShaftsT3 (Regular Taper)
  • Maple – Ebony – Maple Veneers bordering each point.
  • Black Linen Based Fiber rings bordering the Deco Rings and Ivory Joint
  • Ivory Joint
  • Ivory Rambo Ring in Butt Sleeve
  • 3 Bloodwood Deco Rings in the Butt Sleeve, Joint and Shaft (not shown)
