Custom Pool Cue
This pool and billiard cue was made from seasoned laminated Hard
Maple. The wood was allowed to season 2 years before it was incrementally
reduced in size for
use in this cue. It features natural colored linen based fiber for the joint
and butt cap.
Tim’s
Malachite/Ebony/Ivory Custom Pool Cue
Tim and I first designed the butt sleeve.
We selected Gaboon Ebony to host the Ivory Inlays (two elongated
Ivory Diamonds with a convex center into which a Malachite diamond
was inlaid). One at zero degrees and one at 180 degrees.
Forest Green Matched
Custom Cue Set
This set of custom cues was made at the same time. The only difference between
the cues is in the construction. The Jump Break cue Forearm may be removed to
become a Jump Cue handle. You can see that it is usually hidden by the partially
exposed gold-plated Uni-Loc connecting pin.
Ebony/Birdseye Maple/Ivory
Custom Pool Cue
Working with Sam to develop and design this
cue was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had since
becoming a cuemaker.
He did not rush me (even though he was anxious to get his new
cue); and he was fun to work with.
African Blackwood Road Player Deluxe
Custom Cue
This Solid African Blackwood Road Player features seasoned African Blackwood
in the Forearm and the Butt Sleeve. We inlayed 8 inch strips of Ivory into
the Butt Sleeve and we added a Silver Joint Ring for accent.
Zebrawood
Tulipwood Zebrawood Custom Pool Cue I started with a wonderful
piece of 12 year old Zebrawood. It was parted in
half and an equal size piece of Primo Curly Maple
was carefully joined to the center of each piece
of Zebrawood.
