I have looked for months at all types cues, and different sites, including
the Ebay web site. I am very picky; I wanted the cue made correctly. I
looked at both custom cues and manufactured cues. I Either I just didn't
trust the individual selling the cue or I didn't have the confidence in
the individual making the cue after talking to them or the cue design wasn't
what I wanted.
I talked to Mr. Arnot and I sent him pictures of the cue I wanted to be
constructed. We talked about the cue and what I liked and disliked about the
cues I have seen and what I expected from him. The price quoted for the cue was
very reasonable for a custom cue. We agreed on a price and payment options which
I could afford. Most people will not accommodate you in this way. He did.
A little background. I have been playing for 27 years with a Dufferin.
It was cobbled from different Dufferins until I found a combination that felt
right, which had a solid hit, and stroked smoothly when I shot. The weight was
21oz, but the cue was so well balanced it felt like a 17oz when you stroked the
cue. During those years I have played with Meuccis, McDermotts, and Viking cues,
among others. I have always returned to my dufferin. Something never felt right
with those cues. The only cue that came close was a old and expensive Balabushka
that I was allowed to try out.
When I received the cue, I spent 1/2 a day playing pool and trouncing the
competition. The balance was extremely good, the stroke very smooth like
my old Dufferin. Breaking with the cue, is just phenomenal, the hit is
solid with no vibration. When English is applied to the cue ball, no matter
how much, there is no deflection of the T3 shaft, just as I expected. This
feature allows me to control of the cue ball, as well as the object ball.
I can tell you that my new cue exceeds any and all expectations. The cue
made is just like the picture I sent to Mr. Arnot. I finally have a replacement
cue for my worn Dufferin. I am very happy and satisfied. Thanks for the
great cue Mr. Arnot, I appreciate the work and time you spent on the cue.

Mr. Arnot, I have always wanted a custom cue and when I could finally afford
to get one, I searched the internet for two months to find the best cue
on the market. I looked at all types of cues. Some cue makers sold cues
to the collector and some were just cookie cutter cues. They all had one
thing in common, they pretty much looked the same! Then I found your website.
Your cues were different! They had a life of their own. I could tell that
you took a lot of time to work the cue, to make the cue come to life! Your
cues were meant to be played with not just put on a shelf. When I decided
that I was going to purchase a cue from you, I did two things. I tried
to find a better cue than the ones you make! I looked for a month and sure
I found really fancy cues but I couldn't find a cue that looked anything
like your Rainbow cues. The second thing that I did was to try to find
someone on the internet that had a bad experience with an Arnot Q. I looked
for two weeks and everything that I found complimented you as a cue maker.
I received my FOREST GREEN Rainbow cue last week and although I am not
a great player, my game has improved dramatically! I held the table for
nine games in a row at my local club! I haven't done that in ten years!!
People love the look of my cue and I have given out several of your cards.
I expect that soon, I won't be the only guy with an Arnot Q. Thanks Mr.

Hey Arnot, Just wanted to tell you I love the new shaft. The quality of
workmanship is first class. And it plays great. That thing transfers lots
of action to the cue ball. I've got the racks shaking with fear when they
see me step up with my breaking cue. Thanks again. Kenneth Brian Lowell

Hello Arnot, The post lady arrived about three hours ago, delivering my
new cue set. This set is obviously the work of a master artisan. It is
beautiful in it's simplicity and exquisite workmanship. I am totally
satisfied with my choice of curly maple. OK, so the looks are outstanding!
Time to find out how it feels, and three hours later I can tell you that
the playing cue exceeds any and all expectations. I spent about 20 minutes
with the break cue, just racking and breaking, and I'm impressed, but the
playing cue feels like it is a part of me. I once had the opportunity to
use an antique cue that was purported to have been made by one of the best,
and it was very, very nice, but this cue is better, much better! Thank-you,
Arnot, for crafting such a great cue set, and delivering on my expections,
and then some! I will have many hundreds of hours of pleasure with this
cue set. Bill

Dear Mr. Wadsworth, My triple threat jump/break is wonderful. The depth
of the finish is amazing; the curley maple is beautiful. I was impressed
before I had even shot with it. When I did get to the hall, I racked up
for some 9-ball, and broke with it. The rack exploded pocketing 3 balls
and left the cue ball dead in the center of the table. I ran my first rack
of the day thanks to that break. Then I set up a few jump shots... This
is what was really impressive; it only takes a light snap of the wrist
to jump with this cue, you do not even have to stroke it! The control is
amazing, too! I could easily kill, follow, or draw with it. The Terminator
T3 shaft is extremely stiff, with almost no deflection... I can accually
shoot well with this cue, but the tip is a little too hard for a playing
cue (in my opinion). I strongly recommend these cues to everyone. No matter
what level of player you are, Arnot's cues will improve your game! Thank
you! You do nice work and I will definately be ording another cue soon.
I may not ever go back to any other cue. I only have one regret, and that
is not getting the leather wrap afterall... ;) Chad Moore

Hi Arnie, Good morning! Hope you're feeling good today. We got the cue
yesterday...and it is very, very pretty! My wife loves it!!! She played
with it last night and today as well... and she doesn't even want me to
touch it. ha ha ha! Not a problem, though. You know how happy I am with
my Deluxe Yellow Jacket cue. :) I showed my wife the cue pic in your website
and she was pleasantly surprised to see that you had gone to the effort
of putting up a picture of it. She only has one comment and request...and
that is, if you could put it as " Sold to Nadine Coronel. Arnie, thanks
for making the really beautiful cue for Nadine. Another happy customer...

Arnot, Hi. I was able to get my cue early last week from the local post
office. I have only been able to use my Arnot in three sessions. In all
of those times, the hit has been very consistent. I don't exactly know
how to describe the hit - the only phrase I can come up with is that it
is crisp and clean. I have been able to execute curve shots with better
accuracy. I'm still getting used to the deflection characteristics of the
cue as I have been used to cues with much higher deflection. The cue ball
action is also something that is surprising me - I've been able to generate
more spin with this cue. The tip that you installed is a marvel, I've only
miscued once in all my sessions - that's a good thing since I normally
miscue 2 to 3 times every session since I almost always use extreme english.
I assume this is a soft moori tip? I am planning to use this tip exclusively
in all my playing cues. The performance of the cue has met all my expectations
and then some. Thank you very much for making such a precision tool. By
the way, I tried breaking with the cue. I used a soft break but I still
got a very nice spread. I'm sure I'll be calling you again if I need to
replace my break cue. Thank you and warm regards, Paul Q. Reprado Philippines

Hi Arnot, Many thanks for the finished Silver Bullet cue. It looks great
and the balance is superb. As a pre-competition warm up, I played 40 racks
with a friend last night. Won 30-10 with a number of run outs. Drawing
back is effortless and I can now play all the shots I normally play on
a snooker table. The cue is a joy to play with and shall be much treasured.
I'm delighted to have done business with such a fine craftsman. Many Thanks
again. Lee

Hello Arnot I received my Rosewood Jump break cue yesterday. The finish
work is outstanding the balance is great and I really like the wood that
you used for this cue, I didn't know what to expect because you made this
cue for me and it wasn't one of your standard models. I tried the cue for
a couple of hours and my thoughts is that this cue feels Great it is very
easy to make Balls on the break and keep control of the cueball!!!! It
is like magic you hit the cueball with Moderate power and the rack explodes,
I like the sound of the cueball when it is hitting the rack you have to
hear it to believe it. This cue is exactly what I was dreaming of. I also
tried the T3 break shaft on my playing cue to shoot some Three Cushion
Billiards and hits great I couldn’t believe that I was giving the
ball so much English with a flat break tip, As about power the ball just
keeps on running!!!! The taper of the shaft seems like a modified Billiard
Taper which gave me the idea to try it for Three Cushions. I can’t
wait to see the Chocolate Ice and the Silver Bullet that Dimitris bought
and get my hands on my T3 playing shaft for my cue. When should we expect
the Cues??? Thank you Arnot for this Great Cue Sincerely Apostolos Draganakis

Hi Arnot, I got the cue 2 days ago, thanks. The first time I played, I
was hitting harder than I wanted to. After adjusting and playing a couple
of hours, my impression was yes, I was playing more effectively, which
could be due to many reasons, of course, but I'm inclined to think it's
the cue: It's seems lighter than the 19.0 oz. it actually weighs,
it looks great, and it's fun to play ! Enrique

Arnot, WOW! I received my cue this past Tuesday and WOW just about sums
it up. The cue is absolutely beautiful, a work of art. It plays better
than any other cue I have ever played with and most likely better than
any cue I ever will play with. Placing English on the cue balls took some
getting used to as the cue hits so precisely and with so little effort.
I am so happy with the cue, again thank you so much. Again, it is so much
more than what I expected, Thank you so much. Arthur

Good morning Arnot, Well, I received my Deluxe Yellow Jacket yesterday,
and finally got the chance to try it out today. :) I played three hours
and all I can say is, "WoW!!!" I was shooting shots that I had
difficulty making before. Long, thin cut shots were effortless today, and
long shots (you know, cue ball at one end of the table and object ball
down at the other end, were easy. I have to admit that my first 3 or 4
racks with the cue were not too exciting. I was so used adjusting for deflection
when I would play with my previous cue, that when I hit with your cue (actually, "my" cue
now :) ), I wasnt aiming correctly. I was still aiming the way that I would
aim with my old playing cue. It then dawned on me that I had to "re-learn" my
aiming. So, I removed my compensation for deflection...and wham! My shots
just started rolling in. I wasn't hitting hard...most of my shots were
at pocket speed. Beautiful! Okay, I admit that I had difficulty drawing
the cue ball today. But, I think it's because I was just so used to my
old playing cues 12.5mm shaft. This T3 shaft was a little bit thick for
my fingers. I typically play a draw shot with a closed bridge, and I had
difficulty doing a power draw with the 13mm T3 (Terminator) shaft. Small
hand and not too flexible fingers, what could I do? But, most of my other
shots were effortless. Point and shoot is right. :) Oh, I did do an open
bridge draw with the T3, and I was able to pull back the cue ball around
2 feet. The beauty of that shot was that it was a soft stroke. I guess
that it just means that I have to get used to the cue and T3 shaft a little
bit more. I feel my game will improve with this cue, Arnot. Thanks! Truth
is, my game seems to have leveled off a bit. Hopefully, with my Deluxe
Yellow Jacket, my game will go up a few notches again. I will update you
once in a while on how my "relationship" with this cue goes along,
Arnot. :) Will send you a picture of me and the cue in a day or so too.
By the way, the cue did have your signature, thanks! One last thing, how
much does this Deluxe Yellow Jacket weigh? The balance was so good that
the cue felt very light. Best Regards, Noel B. Coronel P.S. My next commission
will go towards the purchase of a Titanium Triple Threat Jump/Break cue.
I want one just like yours!

stitching it really looks great. It was a long wait but it was worth it.

It has been two weeks since my Rainbow Series Copperhead custom cue, and it is
difficult to tell you how pleased I am with it. I waited this long intentionally
so I would not be influenced by the "newness" and "beauty" of
the cue. It goes without saying that the fit and finish of my cue have exceeded
my high expectations. But even better, I am finding that my game is improving
day by day. Not only does the cue send the cue ball where I aim, without fail,
but as a result my confidence is increasing with each shot. And on breaks, it
has to be seen to be believed!
The other night, in an 8 ball tournament, I made
at least one ball in 12 consecutive breaks, most often more than one, and in
one break, 4 balls! And in each break every ball was open. This is a serious
advantage!
My friend that I have been playing with for 25 years says
that my cue sounds better than any cue he has ever heard.
Everyone who picks up my cue cannot believe that it weighs
19 1/2 oz. The balance is perfect, such that the cue feels
to weigh only 17 oz. or so. This balance makes having a controlled
stroke, one which is smooth and consistent, easy. This makes
position incredibly easy to play. But to be able to make
a hard cut on a long shot, with a hard stroke, is in some
ways demoralizing to the competition. Two or three of these
kind of shots with a position run-out to follow seems to
take away most of their confidence, which makes winning much
easier.
Over all, I am more than pleased. My Rainbow
Series, Copperhead is beautiful in every way. Thanks, and
keep up the good work, Victor Hauk Manor, TX.

Hi Arnie, Something very good just got better! The Lizard TEJU wrap BEM has
the same Arnot benchmark of a solid hit with good feel and control (no surprise
here). A big improvement however is the taper on the Terminator T3 shaft with
a good transition from ferrule to mid length. The Lizard TEJU Wrap is awesome
and it really allows you to 'get a grip on your game.' In summary the cue is
moderately fancy with the razor sharp ebony points and ivory dash inlays but
deadly functional. The result is a winning combination with great value that
provides performance and confidence every time you step up to the table. So
if you're serious about improving your game then "Be the best that you
can be with Terminator Technology"! Larry Sivik
